After taking a few  weeks off, 'SNL' will return this coming Saturday (when else?) to kick off the first of the 39th season's final three installments, webbing up 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' star Andrew Garfield for his first hosting gig, along with Coldplay's fifth appearance on the series. The first promos have arrived with Bobby Moynihan, but how does Garfield stack up against his 'Spider-Man' co-star/girlfriend/former 'SNL' host/lip-sync champion Emma Stone?

Early reviews for Garfield's second turn as the New York City webslinger have been mixed across the board, but thankfully the future 'SNL' star's first promos seem promising enough. One clip sees Garfield previewing the episode for British audiences, followed by one for Americans, and finished with 'SNL''s most loyal viewership, dogs. Another sees Moynihan attempting to distract Garfield with web-shooter noises, the increasing absurdity of which sees Garfield finally cracking up and walking out of the shot.

Should Garfield stumble, the final two installments of the 39th season are promising enough as 'A Million Ways to Die in the West' star Charlize Theron takes the stage for the second time, this round alongside The Black Keys, while alumni and 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' star Andy Samberg will close out the season with his first hosting return and with musical guest St. Vincent. Of course, ‘SNL’ has an even brighter future ahead in 2015 after the announcement of a three-hour 40th anniversary special.

Well, what are you waiting for? Preview Garfield's 'SNL' hosting turn in the promos above, and tell us if you think the erstwhile Spidey will make for a strong hour this weekend!
