Slide the City In Talks with Portland for Summer Event

This is your one time to play in the middle of a busy street.

Organizers of Slide the City are in talks with Portland city officials about bringing the event to Maine this summer! Unfamiliar with said awesomeness? In the heart of Portland a 1,000 foot slip n' slide is set up for your sliding pleasure! The slide rockets wacky dressed participants the distance of over three football fields. Don't worry it's cushioned and properly inflated...sorry I had to.

Tickets are expected go up as the event nears. So far no date has been announced or location within the city, but we'll keep you posted!

Imagine if they did this in Bangor! State Street hill would have people breaking the sound barrier!
