Six people, including residents of New York and Florida, were arrested in an Augusta apartment, where agents found cocaine and heroin.

Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says Police Officers were called to apartment #8  at 75 Washington Street just after 4:00 Monday afternoon for a report of disorderly conduct. A search of the residence by Officer Todd Nybert turned up 2 1/2 grams of cocaine and 10 grams of heroin, all packaged for individual sale. Six people were arrested at the residence and face charges:

  • 24-year-old Shawn Dallas of New York City is charged with an arrest warrant, aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs
  • 57-year-old Lloyd Bowden, listed as a transient, is charged with an arrest warrant
  • 31-year-old Melissa Clark of Augusta is charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.
  • 34-year-old Shaun Campbell of Augusta is charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs
  • 20-year-old Alyssa Theriault of Gardiner is charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs
  • 31-year-old Elizah Cherry of Bonita Springs, Florida is charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs
