This should be a great day and you can run with the Alwife. Now granted you're running through a beautiful forest and their fighting their way up the ladder but you both have fun and hopefully get where you're going.

The Maine Forest and Logging Museum (Leonard’s Mill) on the Gov't Road in Bradley will be holding this event along with other family fun on May 20th race/walk starts at 8:30 AM. The course is 3.8 miles of beautiful logging road and this cross country run will support the ongoing community activities at Maine Forest and Logging Museum.

Entry fees are a donation as follows: early registration students $10.00 and non-students $15.00, day of registration students $15.00 and non-students $20.00. There will also be a free 1-mile fun run. Free T-shirts available for the first

50 runners that register. Prizes will be determined based on the runner’s talents but the judges will be creative. Click here for registration form.

Once the race is complete the public will have the remainder of the day until 4 PM to celebrate the Alewife fish migration observed at the Blackman Stream fish ladder. The museum volunteers will have the Lombard steam log hauler fired up and the saw mill running . No pets are allowed on the grounds. Please bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the day.
Here is a classic Lombard film to get you started.
