Crews were on the scene of another apartment house fire Friday night. While the cause of the previous fire was undetermined, officials say this blaze had a human element.

According to WABI-TV, the fire was reported at around 8:00 Friday night at an apartment house on Holyoke Street. Everyone was able to get out safely and no injuries were reported. Several departments worked together to fight the fire that left two of the three units uninhabitable.

While fire officials told WABI that there appears to have been a human element involved in how the fire started, they declined to comment further until the State Fire Marshal's office completes its investigation. They did indicate that the fire is not considered suspicious.

Tuesday morning, fire devastated an apartment house on South Main Street in Brewer. Everyone got out safely thanks, in part, to a passerby who banged on the door and yelled until the occupants woke up at around midnight. The State Fire Marshal's office said the damage was too extensive to be able to determine how that fire started.
