Last night you had a shot at seeing the Northern Lights!

Last night, a small geomagnetic storm extended the Northern Lights further south. To see the Aurora Borealis in Maine it usually takes a geomagnetic storm to produce the light show. A storm is classified at a level of Kp5 or higher, which happens to be foretasted level for tonight. So you might catch a glimpse again tonight!

The Sebec Lake Webcam caught a glimpse last night. Check it out here. There's a few videos on the site, so check the time-stamp.
