Sabrina Finds Her New Baby

My heart is bursting right now! I am a very proud new Mommy of a Beagle / Basset mix named Milly! She was actually the featured pet of the week this week of WABI. She was brought to the Bangor Humane Society because her owner needed to move and could not bring her with him.

I am thrilled to have Milly in my life. Adopting a pet is such a great feeling. Very rewarding! You get to help a pet in need and help yourself at the time. It's like we saved each other!

It wasn't very long ago that we had to put our dog down. She had cancer and never recovered from her surgery to remove the tumors. We miss our sweet Molly girl so much and we are very thankful for the time we had with her.

Having a new pup to love feels so great! I honestly think that life is so much better when you have a dog. The unconidtional love of a dog is like nothing else!
