ROAD TRIP WORTHY: Hootie And The Blowfish Announce NH Show

Hootie & The Blowfish are back, and will make two stops here in New England. Safe to say it's worth the trip.

This morning Darius Rucker announced he's getting the band back together again. Hootie & The Blowfish will hit the road in 2019. The Barenaked Ladies will open the show. The closest show to Maine is in Gilford, New Hampshire. Aug. 2, 2019 the group will perform at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion. Tickets go on-sale Friday, Dec. 7.

The following night, Aug. 3, 2019, the tour will make a stop at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts.

Rucker added the group will also put out new music in 2019.

A reunion tour has been suspected and hoped for by fans after the group performed a one night only show in Atlanta back in July. After that, the group performed twice more in August.

Could a Bangor show happen? According to the tour schedule, there's four day gap between their New Jersey and New Hampshire shows. That's plenty of time to bring the tour northward.
