Rescue Puppy Home After Long Journey With Bangor Police

Tessa, the rescue puppy who hitched a ride from Virginia to her new home in Maine in the back of a Bangor Police vehicle, is with her new owner.

The Bangor Police Department posted the puppy's status on its Facebook Monday afternoon with photos of Tessa, an Australian shepherd, playing in the snow at her new home in Waldoboro.

It was indeed an incredible journey.
