Green Day Frontman Hits Rehab After Meltdown

Several news organizations including USA Today and E News are reporting that Billie Jo Armstrong from Green Day entered a rehab program over the weekend following an on stage meltdown in Las Vegas.

USA Today reports  Armstrong will undergo treatment for substance abuse.  Friday night Armstrong seemed to lose his temper after being signaled that Green Day only had one minute remaining on stage after their set was shortened by the promoters.

No word if this will affect Green Day's upcoming performance in January in Portland. Let's hope for the best.
