Reese Witherspoon Was Both Drunk + A U.S. Citizen In Dash Cam Footage from Her Arrest [VIDEOS]

When Reese Witherspoon was nabbed for disorderly conduct after getting mouthy with a cop during husband Jim Toth’s  DUI arrest, there was lots of talk about what, exactly, she told the arresting officer.

Behold! The dash cam tape is here!

TMZ got access to the video that shows Toth being dealt with, Reese interjecting, and the (sorta overzealous) cop leading her away with arms behind her back.

Reese, admittedly drunk, would not stop pestering the officer with statements like “I’m an American citizen!” and “I’m allowed to stand on American ground!”

After the cop got fed up, Reese made a point to repeat everything he said back to him in the form of a question. Police love that.

Here are some highlights:

Reese: “Do you know my name sir?”
Officer: “Don’t need to know.”
Reese “You don’t need to know my name?”
Officer: “Not quite yet.”
Reese: “You’re about to find out who I am!”

Reese: “I have done nothing against the law.”
Officer: “Yes you did, you didn’t obey my orders.”
Reese: “I have to obey your orders?”

Reese: “I’m being anti-American?”
Officer: “Yes, please sit down.”
Reese: “Wow!”

Reese: “I’m now being arrested and handcuffed?!?”

And after being told she was being taken in for obstructing justice: “I’m obstructing your justice?”

She also, in a state of panic, told the officer she was pregnant — which she isn’t — and that she had to pee — which she probably did. We’re also kind of loving her repeated use of the phrase, “This is beyond!” (It’s like everything “fetch” wanted to be, and more.)

“I am so sorry, and I was so disrespectful to [the arresting officer], and I have police officers in my family. I work with police officers every day,” Reese said earlier today (May 2) on ‘Good Morning America.’ “I know better, and it’s just unacceptable.”

Also today, Reese pled no contest to disorderly conduct and paid a $213 fine. She wasn’t required to be present, so she let her attorney earn his keep and enter the plea on her behalf.

Her husband Jim did appear in person to answer his DUI charge, pleading guilty and accepting his punishment: 40 hours of community service, 12 months of probation, and a mandatory alcohol education program.
