Les Lapins Cretins are surpassing Rayman in ways they never thought they'd achieve now that the Raving Rabbids are going to be debut on the silver screen.

Thanks to Empire Online, we know that Ubisoft and Sony Pictures are going to be working together to bring Ubisoft's gaming franchises to Hollywood. Assassin's Creed, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six and now Raving Rabbids are all going to be made into feature films.

Sony Pictures Animation are recently known for the CGI films, 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs' and 'The Smurfs.' So we know that the Rabbids will be brought to life with top-notch CGI effects. The popularity of 'Rabbids Invasion' on the Nickelodeon was likely a major factor in deciding to create a feature Rabbids film.

While Sony's Rachet & Clank and Sly Cooper franchises, along with Heavenly Sword, are both being adapted into movies, Ubisoft and Sony's ventures into full-length features reminds us that not every video game-based movie has to be horrible. We'll go just as long as we don't see Uwe Boll anywhere on their theatrical posters.
