Portland Students to Sing with Foreigner

Anna Kendrick's old high school chorus will be rocking along side legends!

The Deering High School chorus has been asked by rock n' rollers, Foreigner, to sing with them on stage. The 26 student chorus will provide backing vocals for Foreigner's 1985 tune 'I Want to Know What Love Is.' They'll be singing the night away at Foreigner's gig at the State Theater next Tuesday.

Chorus members will be selling Foreigner CD's before and after the show to raise money for the Grammy Foundation. The foundation is a national effort to support music education in schools. Foreigner has also announced they'll donate $500 to the chorus!

When Foreigner visited Maine over the summer, they invited the Greater Bangor New Renaissance Singers choral group to sing along with them.

The State Theater show is now sold out.
