Police are looking for a man who walked into a convenience store last night and demanded money. It's believed the man may have been armed with a gun.

Augusta Police Deputy Chief Jared Mills said in a press release Monday morning that a man walked into the Quick Mart on Western Avenue just after 8:30 Sunday night and demanded money from the clerk. He then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. It's believed he may have had a handgun.

The suspect is described as a white man between 20 and 30 years old with a slim to medium build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a red and black jacket, grey bomber-type hat with fur, and aviator sunglasses.

Anyone with information on this robbery is asked to call  Detective Wastella of the Augusta Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division at 626-2370.
