Police Respond To Fatal Crash In Damariscotta

Police are investigating a deadly accident on Route 1 in Damariscotta.

The Lincoln County News reports the wreck on Route 1 near Main Street involved two large trucks and was reported around 9:45 a.m.

The Central Lincoln County Ambulance Service, Damariscotta Police Department, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Maine State Police and the Damariscotta Fire Department responded to the scene.

LCSO will conduct a crash reconstruction.
