Police Release Body Cam Footage Of Limestone Explosion, Fire

Dramatic footage recorded by a body cam shows officers and firefighters being knocked to the ground by Thursday’s explosion in Limestone.

The propane tank explosion on Main Street was recorded by a body cam worn by Police Chief Stacey Mahan.

The Bangor Daily News reported that a volunteer firefighter, Scott Patten, suffered facial burns after he was engulfed in flames.

Patten suffered first- and second-degree burns and was transported to Cary Medical Center in Caribou. He was released the next day.
