Police Looking for Suspect in Bangor Bar Shooting

Bangor Police are looking for a man who allegedly shot at another man after a bar room brawl.

Sunday morning around 12:45 police where called to the area of Main and Water streets, after a call came in that there was a gunshot victim in the street. Upon arival police found a handgun magazine in the middle of Main street.

The altercation apparently took place in the back parking lot of The Tavern bar. A witness said she saw her male friend in the parking lot fighting in the parking lot with a group of African-American men.

The suspect has a medium to heavy build, wears glasses and was wearing a black or blue baseball cap with 'New York' or 'NY,' according to Lt. Paul Edwards.
