Police Identify Two People Found Dead in Old Town Apartment; Drugs Suspected

State Police say the woman found dead inside an Old Town apartment on Monday is 54-year-old Darlene Gross.

Her identification resulted from DNA work completed at the State Police Crime Lab.

Also found dead inside the apartment was 33-year-old Mark Savage.

Police say the two had last been heard from on September 1. The apartment door was locked, and police had to get a key from the landlord to get into the Water Street home.

Both lived at the apartment and both deaths are being investigated as drug overdoses.
