Police Car Will Be Entered in Demolition Derby

A police car in a demolition derby? Yup, you'll see it soon. And if the retired officer wins? All the money, $1,500, will go to the Special Olympics. Cool!

The Bangor Police Department is entering a car in the derby at this year's Bangor State Fair. It's not really a city-paid-for cruiser, but a donated car painted to look like one. But it will be a retired officer behind the wheel! Of course, the big question is, will the Duck of Justice be there for a ride-a-long?
