I know how much you people need movement to keep your attention. This might help. This is our would be robber at the Big Apple convenience store on State Street in Bangor last Thursday night.Taking copies of video from many security systems is as much luck as it is skill. I have neither. However, this little snippet might allow you to see the criminal genius in the mask, walking and moving about. The nuances that are in human movement sometimes are the key to identifying a suspect. I am not saying that this guy dances like Usher or moves like Jagger. I am saying if you know him and see his sneakers, jeans and goofy mask, it might ring a bell. Maybe you were at his home recently playing Scrabble and saw the mask lying near the Thesaurus. Maybe not.Maybe this individual recently told you that he was hitting the road with the take of his next robbery. I have no idea who you hang out with. If you can help us, we would appreciate it.Contact Detective Josh Kuhn or call 207-947-7384 and hit option#6. You can leave a message. It can be anonymous. You could also drop us a private message on our Facebook Page. Do not leave the guesses in our comments section. I will have to delete you and you do not want to miss the next video. Maybe you do. Just don't leave it in the comments because if I have to stop this car, you are in big trouble mister-man.The men and women of the Bangor Police Department will be here! We play Scrabble.

Bangor Police are asking for the public's help identifying a masked person who allegedly tried to rob a store last week.

According to the Department's Facebook post, the attempted robbery happened last Thursday night at the Big Apple on State Street in Bangor. Investigators are hoping that friends of the crook will recognize their movements or clothing, since his/her face was covered with a mask.

The clerk is one cool customer, as she didn't hand over any money. Watch closely and you'll see her pick up the phone and call police. The attempted robber turns and runs.

Police hope that you'll take a close look at the robber and let them know if you recognize anything about the man-in-the-green-mask's mannerisms. If you think you may have information, call Detective Josh Kuhn or call 947-7384 and hit #6 to leave an anonymous tip
