Bangor Police are asking for the public’s help locating a man who’s been missing since Saturday night. Si “Tobi” Lam, 22 was last seen at his Bangor home but left on foot sometime during the night.

Sergeant Catherine Rumsey said in a press release today that police received a report of a missing person at around 10:45 Sunday morning. Family members said that Lam, who also goes by the name ‘Lee’ had left his family’s home on foot sometime during the night and had not returned home. Lam’s family last saw him at about 10:30 Saturday night and reported that he was gone when they woke up.

Family members say Lam is very new to the area. He has no friends that the family knows of and so they have no idea where he may have gone.  They say this is very unlike Tobi and so they are very concerned about his welfare.

He’s described as five feet, eight inches tall and approximately 180 pounds. He has dark hair and brown eyes, and wears prescription eyeglasses. Family members believe he may have been wearing a dark colored jacket and dark colored winter pants.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Toby Lam is asked to call Detective Myron Warner at the Bangor Police Department at 947-7384, extension 5740.
