Police Arrest St. Albans Man In Connection With Uncle’s Death

Police on Friday arrested a St Albans man in connection with the shooting death of his uncle this morning inside the uncle’s home at 50 McNally Road.

Jeremy Erving, 24, faces a murder charge in the death of his 53-year-old uncle, Randy Erving.

Jeremy Erving turned himself in at the Somerset Sheriff’s Office in Skowhegan about 9 a.m. to report the incident, according to police. Deputies responded to the house and found the body of Randy Erving in his bedroom.

Erving was arrested and taken to the Somerset County Jail.
