Officials have released the names of three people killed in a small plane crash in Greenville on Monday.

Newscentermaine.com reports the pilot has been identified as 58-year-old Joseph Robertson, and the passengers as 48-year-old Anita Robertson and 24-year-old Laura Robertson. They all died at the scene of the crash that happened before noon. The plane crashed into a field as it was on approach to Greenville Municipal Airport after Joseph Robertson told tower workers that the plane had lost power. The first call was received by the Federal Aviation Administration at 10:40 a.m. Officials say the plane was traveling from Ontario to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island when it ran into trouble.

The incident remains under investigation.
