Phish is getting ready for their summer concert tour a few days before their gig tomorrow in Bangor.

Rumors where going around that Phish would check into Bangor a few days prior to their gig Wednesday on the Bangor Waterfront. That rumor turned out to be a fact. The band's bus and convoy of big rigs were seen at the loading bays of the new Cross Center Monday.

It wasn't immediately known if the band was going to rehearse or if it was just the production crew. The band's assistant general manager Todd Stoudenmire told the Bangor Daily News that the crew arrived this weekend to set up sound and lights.

Not only is the rehearsal a great warm-up for the band and crew, but a great opportunity for the Cross Center to show off its venue.

Sixteen thousand tickets were available for the show with more than 14,000 already sold. Many area hotels and campgrounds are reporting a high number of room bookings, many nearly sold out.
