This would be the opposite of bah humbug!

One thing you can always count on every year is the Penobscot Theatre Company brining some holiday cheer with amazing live performances. They will do it again, but of course in a safe, and socially distanced 2020 kinda way. This year you can enjoy it right from the comfort of your home!

Two new exciting events are coming up, starting on Thursday, December 10, from 7 PM-9 PM, and running until December 27th, with "Deck The Balls" featuring ImprovAcadia. The show is a totally improvised, hilarious holiday performance that is for adults only! The price is $60 per household, and if you are a Penobscot Theatre subscriber, it is $55 per household.

For thirteen seasons, Ken Stack played Ebenezer Scrooge in the Dickens classic "A Christmas Carol", at the Penobscot Theatre. I was lucky enough to catch the yearly production several times, and it was always a great way to get into the Christmas spirit. This time around, Ken is the narrator of his own version that uses Czech rod-marionettes in a toy theatre set, with some very cool puppetry and animation. It begins on December 12th, and runs through December 27th. The cost is $40 per household, and if you are a Penobscot Theatre subscriber, it is $35 per household.
