Pedestrian Killed in Early Morning Accident

A pedestrian was struck and killed in an accident early Monday morning in Lewiston.

According to the BDN, the accident happened just after 6:30 this morning at 850 Lisbon Street, which is near the entrance to the Lewiston Mall. There's no word on how the accident happened or the identities of those involved.

Police closed Lisbon Street from Eastern Avenue to Maple Street, and say the area will remain closed for a couple of hours as the accident is reconstructed.
