Hundreds of New England Patriots fans turned out to take pictures with the Super Bowl 51 Vince Lombardi Trophy at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor on Saturday.

Fans got a chance to take a photo with the trophy and also get a picture and an autograph from a Patriots cheerleader and mascot, Pat Patriot.

It will be a memorable trip for the Lombardi. The vehicle transporting the trophy was hit a deer on I-95 on the way north. No injuries or damage to the trophy, police said.

Saturday's photo session marks the second time the Patriots have brought a championship trophy to Bangor. Back in 2002, after the Patriots won their first Super Bowl, owner Bob Kraft brought the trophy to a rally at Bass Park.
