Family members have identified the man who was shot at an Eddington home Sunday morning.

According to the BDN, the owner of the Hill Street home had a protection order against 44-year-old Christian Tattan. Family members have identified him as the man who was shot as he was entering the residence just before 6:00. Tattan's injuries are considered life-threatening and family members told the paper that he's being kept sedated so he can heal.

Tattan is known to police, with previous convictions for criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. In August of last year, Tattan was given a warning for trespassing and harrassment. The request for a protection order was filed the next day.

So far, police have not commented on the incident or revealed who pulled the trigger. The investigation is ongoing.
