Fire crews remain on the scene this morning of a structure fire in the city of Bangor.

The blaze was reported at the corner of Union and Pond Streets around midnight.

Few details are yet available from the scene but initial reports indicate the fire destroyed the large building which contained some apartments.

The roof on the structure collapsed preventing fire fighter's from getting inside the building but initial reports indicate no one has been injured in the blaze.

Bangor fire fighters were assisted by crews from Brewer and Orono fire.
