Orono Police to Hold a Car Seat Safety Check

According to the National Highway Safety Administration, three out of four car seats are not used properly. Is yours?

The Orono Police Department is holding a free car seat check later this month. The event will take place on Saturday July 23, from 9AM-1PM, at the Orono Police and Fire Department, at 63 Main street. The event will be in the back parking lot, or inside the fire bay if it's raining.

The Orono Police Department asks you bring the car seat's instructions, vehicle owners manual and, if possible, the child that uses the seat.
