Crowds braved thunderstorms on Saturday to watch OneRepublic bring its 16th Annual Honda Civic Tour to the Bangor Waterfront.

The band -- anchored by lead singer Ryan Tedder -- kicked off its set with an electric performance of hit single "Stop and Stare." Tedder and the band continued to play hits such as "Secrets" and "Good  Life," along with singles from their new album "Oh My My," to an enthusiastic audience.

Tedder then flew solo for a few songs, delivering soulful renditions of Beyonce's "Halo" and Ed Sheeran's "Happier" (both songs co-written by Tedder), before encroaching lightning storms forced he band to cut its set in half after about 40 minutes.

OneRepublic brought along indie pop group Fitz and the Tantrums (best known for their single "HandClap") and X-Factor UK winner James Arthur, who is lighting up the charts right now with his single "Say You Won't Let Go."

OneRepublic will head south to Gilford, New Hampshire for the next stop on their Honda Civic Tour. Hopefully the weather will be kinder to the Gilford crowds.
