One Dead In Maine Turnpike Crash

A Massachusetts man died Friday from injuries he received in a one car crash on the Maine Turnpike in York.

Edward Goldman, 65, of Wrentham, Mass., was exiting at exit 7 northbound in York when he lost control of his vehicle, according to police. The vehicle overturned and crashed into a tree.

Goldman was thrown from the vehicle. He was transported to Portsmouth Hospital and later was pronounced dead.

No other vehicles were involved. The investigation is ongoing.
