As Freddie Mercury of Queen once said ‘GET ON YOUR BIKES AND RIDE!’

Old Town Police Department is sponsoring a bike rodeo this month. It will be held at the Old Town Elementary School parking lot. The event scheduled from 11-1PM Saturday, May 20.

The Bicycle Coalition of Maine is also participating in the event. They’ll be setting up a fun course for you and the kids to ride through. Just bring your bike and a helmet pedal power the afternoon away!

It’s also worth noting with the warmer months upon us bicyclists will be more prevalent on Maine roadways. Watch for cyclists, and share the road. Be sure to give them at least three feet of room, It’s the law.
