No Doubt put their own slacker spin on the notion of formal award show attire during their performance of 'Looking Hot' at the 2012 American Music Awards.

After an introduction by Karmin, Gwen Stefani and company kicked off the track. "Go ahead and look at me, cause that's what I want," Stefani sang, and we were happy to oblige. "Take a good look, won't you please, cause that's what I want."

All four members of the group wore white and black, but this was hardly a black tie affair. Drummer Adrian Young wore a suit jacket with the sleeves cut off and no shirt, while bassist Tony Kanal wore a button-down white shirt with a black collar. Guitarist Tom Dumont rocked a basic black suit that appeared to have rows of bullets serving as armbands.

Stefani, meanwhile, wore tight black pants and a sparkly silver and black jacket over a see-through, black mesh top, with a white bow tie for good measure. She took center stage during the ska-pop mid-song breakdown, ordering the crowd, "Go ahead and stare at my ragamuffin."

'Looking Hot' is the second single from the group's latest album, 'Push and Shove,' which entered the charts at No. 3. No Doubt may have pulled the 'Looking Hot' video, but we're still loving the song.
