Nicole Kidman recently reflected on her marriage to Tom Cruise and -- finally! -- expressed incredulity over their 11-year union. Sort of.

"I was so young when I got married," she admitted during an interview with Red Magazine via PEOPLE. "I look back now and I'm like, 'What?'"

The Moulin Rouge actress -- who wed Cruise in 1990 and adopted two children with him over the course of their decade long marriage -- then compared the past trajectory of her personal life to Taylor Swift's in an attempt to highlight just how young she was when she married Cruise.

"You look at Taylor Swift, I mean how old is she? She's 26," Kidman continued. "I had two kids by the time I was 27 and I'd been married for four years. But that’s what I wanted."

She then switched gears to talk about her current marriage to husband Keith Urban. The couple recently celebrated their tenth anniversary together, which Kidman notes is significant, considering the bumpy start of their relationship.

"That's really big for us. It was really up and down for the first three months. We've been through a lot for ten years," she told Red. "And we're stronger than ever. I say that while touching wood, and no way in a boastful way. I just say it with wonder. Absolute wonder."

"When you're older, you've been through things, you've made mistakes. So you come into it [a second marriage], still giddy, but wanting it to last," she continued. "We always consider the 'us.' We say, 'Is this going to be good for us?' It's the simplest phrase, but it works."
