I'll never forget when I was teenager, I tried to emulate Rick Springfield's haircut, without much success! I also was one of the few people who actually went to see his big screen movie "Hard To Hold" when it was in theatres way back in 1984.

In addition to playing Dr. Noah Drake on General Hospital back in the '80s, Springfield racked up some pretty big Top 40 classics like "Love Somebody," "Human Touch," "Don't Talk To Strangers," "I've Done Everything For You," and of course, the one and only "Jessie's Girl" which spent two weeks at the top of the Billboard charts in 1981.

Rick Springfield recently played a gig at Aura in Portland, so the folks at News Center's "207" got a chance to sit down with the legendary pop star, and find out what it's like to still be rockin' after five decades in the biz!
