Augusta and State Police have determined a man whose body was found inside a Washington Street apartment was murdered. Now police are looking for two others who live in the apartment.

The name of the deceased is being held pending notification of family. His body was found overnight when Augusta Police responded to the fourth floor apartment for a disturbance call at around 8:00.

A search of the neighborhood by police and a State Police dog located Damik Davis, age 25 of New York. He's being held at the Kennebec County Jail. An autopsy is scheduled at the State Medical Examiner's office to determine cause of death.

State and Augusta Police are now looking for the two people who live in the apartment to check on their well-being. 27-year-old Zina Fritze, and her boyfriend, 45-year-old Sean McQuade have not been seen since Monday. Fritze is described as 5'8", 110 pounds, now with brown hair. McQuade is 6'1", 150 pounds, with light brown hair. Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call the State Police in Augusta or dial 9-1-1.

Investigators have been on the scene at 75 Washington Street throughout the night processing the scene for evidence. We'll update this story as more details become available.
