Netflix Announces New Season of ‘Trailer Park Boys’

The boys are back in town next month!

The Netflix gods hath delivered! Rejoice! Ricky, Julian and Bubbles are back for season eight of 'Trailer Park Boys' September 5th on Netflix. They announced the premier date on Facebook yesterday. News of 'Trailer Park Boys' joining the Netflix Originals lineup was announced early this year.

Actors Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay and Mike Smith have portrayed the scheming trio for seven seasons on Showcase, as well as three feature length movies. The series originally ended back in 2008.

'Trailer Park Boys' joins the growing list of hugely popular and award winning Netflix Originals. Just as the Trailer Park Boys, Netflix revived the popular show 'Arrested Development' as one of its first in house productions.

Premiering on the 22nd of this month is an animated Netflix Original 'BoJack Horseman.' It stars Will Arnett and former 'Breaking Bad' star Aaron Paul.

Maybe Bangor will get more 'Trailer Park Boys' love in the new season. Maybe Bubbles will have another train convention to attend.
