Multi-Vehicle Crash Shuts Down Outer Hammond Street

Police have closed a portion of Outer Hammond Street due to a multi-vehicle crash.

The accident happened a little after one o'clock this afternoon on Outer Hammond Street in Bangor. Police and rescue workers rushed to the scene to the report of possible injuries and traffic snarls. At last report, the street had been shut down to traffic in the area of Target Industrial Circle.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area until they can get the scene cleaned up.
