MLB 13: The Show Names New Cover Athlete
MLB 13: The Show has collected all of the votes and a winner has been named. So who will grace the cover of the game?
Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen has won the cover and will be plastered all over the box art when the game drops on March 5th, 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. A tweet went out, announcing McCutchen as the winner.

Here are the results of the votes, according to MLB.com:
- Andrew McCutchen, Pittsburgh Pirates – 108,148 votes
- CC Sabathia, New York Yankees – 89,056 votes
- Miguel Cabrera, Detroit Tigers – 76,740 votes
- Matt Kemp, Los Angeles Dodgers – 72,467 votes
- Bryce Harper, Washington Nationals – 42,542 votes
- Buster Posey, San Francisco Giants – 31,508 votes
- Ryan Braun, Milwaukee Brewers – 13,153 votes
While this is all good news for McCutchen, ex-professional soccer player Juan Pablo Galavis had this to say:
