Missing Man in Bangor Found Dead

Bangor Police have just announced the search for a missing Bangor man was suspended last night because the subject of the search was discovered dead.

In a press release this morning, Bangor Sgt. Cathy Rumsey confirms that 51 year old John Eaton Jr. was discovered dead by a witness who had recognized Eaton from news reports.
Eaton had been reported missing by his family and he was last seen alive on Brewster Street.

Sgt. Rumsey says Eaton's body was located last night between Knox Avenue and the Bradford Commons complex and his cause of death is under investigation at this time.
