Miley Cyrus knows a thing or two (or 10) about being hounded and harassed by the paparazzi seeking to capture images of her while on a Starbucks run or on a smoke break.

The singer/actress has reacted to the tragic and senseless death of photographer Chris Guerra, who was struck and killed by an oncoming vehicle while trying to snap shots of Justin Bieber's white Ferrari on a Los Angeles highway yesterday (Jan. 1).

Cyrus first tweeted that she hopes that this incident leads to a reform in law and policy regarding paparazzi who create dangerous scenarios for themselves and others, as well as celebs, while trying to capture an elusive shot. She even pointed to the 1997 car accident that claimed the life of Princess Diana.

She posted: "Hope this paparazzi/JB accident brings on some changes in '13 Paparazzi are dangerous! Wasn't Princess Di enough of a wake up call?!"

She also stuck up for her pal Biebs, who Punk'd her last year, saying that he should be exonerated of any guilt or blame in this incident, tweeting: "It is unfair for anyone to put this on to Justin's conscious as well! This was bound to happen! Your mom teaches u when your a child not…"

She continued: "to play in the street! The chaos that comes with the paparazzi acting like fools makes it impossible for anyone to make safe choices. "

Cyrus' points are well taken. The paparazzi are resorting to dangerous methods to try and grab shots of celebs in today's instant, digital media age. It creates an unsafe environment for everyone involved.

PopCrushers, do you agree with Miley Cyrus' comments about the incident about the paparazzo who died trying to get pictures of JB?
