Searchers were unable to locate a missing Medford woman over the weekend.

The Maine Warden Service, members of the Maine Association of Search and Rescue, the Civil Air Patrol and area residents spent the weekend looking for Diana Estey, 71, the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife said Sunday.

“Local townspeople and Maine Game Wardens walked many miles of woods today,” the agency said.

Maine Search and Rescue Dogs and K9s from the Maine Warden Service were involved in the search as well.

MDIFW said Saturday that Estey has not been seen since Monday, Oct. 31. However, investigators believe she most likely has been missing from her Medford Center Road home since sometime on Wednesday.

Estey is 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 100 pounds with gray hair and green eyes. She may be wearing a purple jacket.

Anyone with information on the woman’s whereabouts is asked to call the Piscataquis County Sheriff’s office at 207-564-3304.
