Man Who Murdered Husson Student Sentenced To Life in Prison

The man who pleaded guilty to murdering his ex-girlfriend was give a life sentence Wednesday afternoon in a Bangor courtroom.

Zackery Mailloux, 23, was sentenced at the Penobscot Judicial Center for the murder of Brooke Locke, according to a report on WABI. Locke, a student at Husson University at the time, was killed in November 2013.

Mailloux was arrested after police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on 166 Essex Street and found Locke dead.
