Man In The Midst Of Run From California To Maine [VIDEO]

Run, Forrest, Run!

Lots of people like to stay active during the summer months, but one man from Michigan is taking it to the extreme, from coast to coast.

23-year old Barclay Oudersluys is running all the way from the Santa Monica Pier, near Los Angeles, California, to the great state of Maine, finishing up at the Marshall Point Lighthouse in Port Clyde.

Oudersluys plans to be on the pavement for 30 miles per day, and hopes to finish the grueling 3,150 mile trip around the middle of next month, with $10,000 for the Hall Steps Foundation, which battles poverty around the world.
