Man Hospitalized After Being Shot By Friend
Police are investigating a shooting Tuesday night. A man called 911 to report that he had accidentally shot his friend.
Bangor Police Sergeant Tim Cotton said in a press release that the 23-year-old Orrington man was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center last evening for treatment of a gunshot wound. At last report, he was in stable condition.
It was around eight o'clock Tuesday night when Bangor Police were called to the residence at 62 Blue Hill West. A male at that address had called 911 to report that he had accidentally discharged a firearm and that his friend had been shot.
Bangor Fire Paramedics and Bangor Police officers responded immediately and the injured man was taken to the hospital.
