A man with a history of deviant behavior is now facing charges after he allegedly laid naked on the floor of the Mount Desert Island YMCA.

According to the BDN, Bar Harbor Police were called to the Y on Thursday, September 23rd to the report of a man lying naked on the public bathroom floor. 19-year-old Nicholas Pike was arrested for violating bail conditions given after a previous arrest. Those conditions included prohibiting him from being at any location primarily used by children under age 16.  After an investigation and consultation with the Hancock County District Attorney's office, Pike was charged with Visual Sexual Aggression against a child under the age of 12, a Class C Felony.

Pike was out on bail following an arrest in Ellsworth on charges that he sent one or more nude photos of himself to a Canadian boy over the age of 12. He was also accused of stealing a pair of boy's underwear from the local Walmart. The BDN reports that there was also an incident on his juvenile record similar to what happened at the Y, but police have declined to comment on it.

He's being held without bail at the Hancock County Jail in Ellsworth. Pike's defense attorney claims this is more of a mental health issue for his client, rather than a criminal act, and has asked for a mental health evaluation.
