Walking around a museum full of taxedermied animals, artifacts, and oddities with just a flashlight, sign me up!

Everywhere you shine your flashlight the beam will fall on an animal skull, taxidermy animals, spooky halloween decor and more at the L.C. Bates Museum in Hinckley.

Oct. 21 from 5:3 0- 8:30 p.m., visitors of the museum will be treated to flashlight tours of the oddities and creatures of the museum as well as participating in fun activities.

Activities include a scavenger hunt, Halloween animal activities, owl pellet dissection up close looks at animals skulls and bat crafts. Most activities are aimed at a younger audience but is fun and informative for all ages!

You can go dressed up or not to the event. You can also attend the museum in the day to see the decorations in addition to their year round nature, art and animal exhibits from Oct. 20 to Nov. 2.
