[UPDATE] Police say Jonathan Edman has been apprehended. Below is the original story

The Maine State Police are looking for an inmate of the Charleston Correctional Facility who walked away from a work site today (June 21).

According to WCSH, the inmate's name is Jonathan Edman, and police say he walked away from a work site at Kingsbury Pond on Route 16, and was believed to be heading towards the Skowhegan area.

Anyone with any information should call the Maine State Police at 626-3800.

According to information from the Maine Department of Corrections, Edman is 20 years old, 6-feet, 1-inch tall and weighs 190 pounds, with blue eyes and sandy hair. He was sentenced in March 2016 on two counts of assault, one count of tampering with a witness and one count of domestic violence assault. The DOC website lists his earliest custody release date as May 2017.
