After Cap'n Nemo's Restuarant in Tremont burned down on December 4th, the owner and others criticized the local fire department for what they claim was an "inadequate response to the fire that destroyed the building that housed the business and the owner's family".

Following the comments, former Tremont resident Rob Hamblen, who now lives in Trenton created a "Ban Nemo's Funding" Facebook page to show his support for the Tremont Volunteer Fire Department.

Now, allegedly there have been threats made to one or more people on this particular Facebook page and Maine State Police are investigating. According to Fenceviewer.com, State Police Sgt. Alden Bustard said the department received complaints about the threats on December 15th.

Apparently the threats were made by one of the owner's family who lives in Alaska and troopers have not yet located the person to warn him.
